Five Birkirkara players in the National squad

Five Birkirkara players were named in the final 20 men of the Maltese National Team led by Mr. Pietro Ghedin for Malta's last match in Group B of the FIFA World Cup 2014 against Denmark.

Goalkeeper Justin Haber, midfield trio Edward Herrera, Paul Fenech and Rowen Muscat, and forward Terence Vella were the Birkirkara players chosen for this match. Gareth Sciberras was dropped from the squad due to injury.

The match, which will bring Malta's FIFA World Cup commitments in Group B to an end, will be played this Tuesday at the Parken Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
