Birkirkara FC signs Claudio Bonanni

Birkirkara FC completed their first signing in the January Transfer Market as Claudio Bonanni signed a contract with our club till the end of the season 2019-2020.

Claudio is a versatile promising player who is capable of playing in midfield and in defence. During this season he was playing in the Seria D of Italy with USD Castellanzese where he played ten matches and scored one goal.   

The twenty-two-year-old player formed part of the academies of AC Milan and FC Pavia in his youth career. He has also played with Italian side US Folgore Caratese and FC Kamza in Albania.

All the paperwork has been registered with the Malta Football Association and he is eligible to play in the next match against Balzan FC.
