Youths League - St. Andrew's FC vs. Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team will start defending their title this evening, as they take on St. Andrew's FC in the first match of the Youths League Section A. 

Following winning the Youths League Section A title in a dramatic way last season in a title decider match, the Stripes will be eager to start their title defence on a good note this evening. 

The squad went through several changes as Alessio Azzopardi, Jordan Sciberras, Gianluca Bugeja, and Nevin Portelli are now all over the age to play in Section A while Ayrton Attard joined Hibernians FC.

On the other hand, the team is strengthened by George Attard who joined our club on a one-season loan from Fgura United FC and several promising players that formed part of the Under-17's Team last season.

The team is once again led by Coach Herman Bugeja who signed another one-year contract with the club. He is assisted by Maurice Pace, while David Spiteri was named the new physical trainer. 

The match will be played at the Luxol Stadium and it will kick off at 20:15.
