Ethiopian International forward Loza Abera joins Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC is delighted to announce the signing of the Ethopianian National Women's Team player, Loza Abera Geinore.

Loza, who plays as a center-forward, has been training with the team for the weeks and she left an outstanding impression before joining our club officially.

The twenty-one-year-old player joins our club following a remarkable spell with Ethiopian side, Adama City FC, who won the Ethiopian Premier League title last season. She was the league's top scorer and was voted the Best Player of the Year.

Thrilled to join her first European club on a permanent move, Loza was delighted to sign for the club. "I am happy to join this club. I know that Birkirkara FC won the league for the last years, so I know that this is a big move for my career."

"As like every attacking player, my target is to score, especially important ones that can help the team. I hope that I will be able to help the team to win the league title again and play in the UEFA Women's Champions League."

All the paperwork with the Malta Football Association have been successfully registered and Loza is available for selection for the Stripes' opening match against Hibernians FC on Wednesday, 9 October.
