BOV Premier League - Birkirkara FC vs. Floriana FC

Birkirkara FC will kick off their BOV Premier League campaign this evening against Floriana FC in a match that will be played at the National Stadium (Kick Off - 20:30).
Following a disappointing season, the Stripes were one of the most active Maltese clubs in the Transfer Market which included high-profile signings together with new foreigners that will be aiming to leave their mark in Maltese football.
Two foreigners that in the past have left their mark were Edison Luis Dos Santos and Federico Falcone who have both signed for the Stripes. Enrico Pepe, Isaac Ntow and Miguel Alba have all been playing in the Maltese League in the last season.
The Stripes also added to their ranks veteran versatile player Roderick Briffa, promising youngster Yannick Yankam and goalkeeper Nicholas Vella together with new foreigners for Maltese football Jeferson De Sousa Ferreira, Renato Goncalves, Ciao Henrique, and Oscar Matias Carniello.
On the other hand, opponents Floriana FC have also had a busy transfer campaign as led by their new Coach Vincenzo Potenza, the Greens reshuffled their squad with the aim and hope to improve on their last season.
