UWCL - Day 1 in Lithuania

Birkirkara FC travelled to Lithuania in early hours of Monday morning to get ready for their commitments in Group 10 Qualifying Round of the UEFA Women's Champions League which will be played between the 7 and 13 August.

The contingent left the Malta International Airport with a direct flight of three hours thirty minutes to Riga, Latvia on Monday. The contingent arrived in Latvia at 06:30 before having another four-hour traveling by bus to Kaunas.

The contingent arrived at the hotel at around noon and the players settled into their rooms and rested. The players then had a short walk followed by dinner before they had an early sleep to recover from the long hours of traveling.
