Simone Buttigieg returns with Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC is delighted to announce that National Team player Simone Buttigieg has joined our club on a one-season loan basis from Swieqi United FC with an option to buy at the end of the season.

This will be a return for the former Swieqi United FC player as she had played with our club between 2009 and 2017. The offensive midfielder is well known for her technique and speed.

Buttigieg is one of the twenty players selected by Coach Melania for the UEFA Women's Champions League and she is eligible to play as all paperwork has been completed.

We would like to welcome Simone while wishing her all the best of luck in her time with our club.
