Club Statement - Thiago Brito

Everyone involved in Birkirkara FC is saddened to hear the news former player Thiago Brito has been involved in a traffic accident that left his wife and niece dead while the player is in a critical condition.

The accident happened earlier this evening in Brazil. Unfortunately, his wife and niece lost their lives in this accident while it left Thiago fighting for his life in a critical condition.

Thiago joined our club in July. He made his debut in the 1-0 victory against Balzan FC, played on the 17 August 2018 and he made a total of fifteen appearances in the last season.

The club offers its unwavering support to his family in this difficult moment while wishing a Thiago a healthy recovery.
