Debut with the Women's National Team for Mifsud

Veronique Mifsud made her debut with the Malta Women's National Team yesterday evening when she was included as a late substitute in the friendly match against Romania. Romania won this match with a 2-0 score.

Mifsud was one of the two Birkirkara players selected for the first time together with Samantha Zarb who was not utilised in this match. On the other hand goalkeeper Janice Xuereb, Alishia Sultana, Stephania Farrugia, and Ylenia Carabott started the match while Rebecca Bajada was included as a substitute at the start of the second half.
