Youth Academy Product Ayrton Attard signs first contract

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy Product Ayrton Attard has signed his first contract with his childhood club, as just a few moments ago, the promising forward has put pen-on-paper on a five-year contract.

Attard needs no introduction as the seventeen-year-old forward has established himself as one of the most promising players on our island. In his first year forming part of the Under-19's Team, Ayrton ended the season as the best scorer in the Youths League Section A with fourteen goals.

During the last season as well, Attard made his debut with the Senior Team, when he was included as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat against Hibernians FC played on the 18 November 2017. He made a total of eight appearances with the Senior Team.

Attard shared his views on signings his first contract with our Club. “This is a dream coming true. I am very happy to have committed my future with my hometown club. It's perfect timing to sign my first contract in the week of our beloved feast of St. Helen. I would like to thank the club for believing in me and I hope I can win many trophies with this glorious club.”
