Ann-Marie Said signs for Birkirkara FC on a permanent move

Birkirkara FC Women's Team completed another important signing when National Team defender Ann-Marie Said has completed a permanent move with our Club. Said has been on loan with our Club for the last two seasons and she established herself as a key-player for the Stripes.

Ann-Marie has been on loan with our Club for the previous two seasons and the solid centre-back continued to establish herself as one of the finest defenders on the island. She was also a nominee for the MFA Female Footballer of the Year in Season 2016-2017.

Said joined our Club in July 2016 and she has won every honour the women's football offer with our Club, including back-to-back titles and a treble last season. During the last season, the twenty-four-year-old defender made eighteen appearances and scored one goal.
