Danilo Chapoval De Azevedo joins Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC continued to reinforce their squad by completing the signing of Brazilian defender Danilo Chapoval De Azevedo.

Danila hails from Brazil and he is twenty-four years old. This will also be Danilo's first experience in Europe, following several spells in native country. During the last season, he was playing with Central SC in the Pernambucano 1 of Brazil where he made twelve appearances and scored one goal.

He is the third new foreigner in the defensive department, following the signing of Eduardo Dos Santos and Arian Mrsulja. On another note, Danilo becomes third new signing this week following the arrival of Nicaragua International Carlos Chavarria and Thiago Brito.

Club's Technical Michael Valenzia has shared his views on this signing. “We would like to welcome Danilo with our Club. He is an aggressive and tall central defender that we have been looking for.”

“Danilo will add these qualities to our team and complement the other defenders at the coach's disposals. We would like to wish him the best of luck for this season.”
