Stripes take on group favourites Zurich Frauen

Birkirkara FC will be aiming for a better result in the second match of the UEFA Women's Champions League this afternoon when they will be involved in the second match. However, their task is anything than easy, as they will take on group-favourites, FC Zurich Frauen.

The Stripes had a tough start in the opening match, as besides losing to Minsk with an 8-0 score, Kelly Agius Pace and Mariah Sciberras both suffered different injuries in the opening fifteen minutes.

On the other hand, Zurich struggled more than expected to emerge as winners in the opening match, as they needed a goal seven minutes from time to defeat hosts Olimpija Ljubljana with a narrow 2-1 score.

The match will be played at the Ljubljana Sport Park and it will kick off at 13:00.
