Walter Acevendo signs Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC continued to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Season 2017-2018, when just a few moments ago, experienced midfielder Walter Acevedo joined our Club on a one-year contract.

Walter hails from Argentina and he is thirty-one years old. He plays as a central midfielder with all desired vision to push forward when in possession while also having the ability to perform as a destructive midfielder thanks to his physique.

Walter enjoys a vast experience in the top and first division of Argentina, as well as the second tier of Spain. Particularly, he has played for the famous San Lorenzo, Independiente and River Plate in the top division of Argentina, while he has also played for Real Zaragoza in Spain.

After leaving Real Zaragoza, he joined Tigre in Season 2014 in the top division of Argentina and then moved to Defensa y Justicia in the same division. In 2016, he moved to All Boys, a Club in the second tier of Argentina, where he has played regular football with them in the last two seasons.
