Edward Herrera renews his contract

Defender Edward Herrera is the first player to renew his contract with our Club this summer, when just a few moments ago, the rapid side-back signed a fresh new two-year contract with our Club.

Edwards needs no introduction in Maltese football. He joined our Club in the Summer Transfer Market before Season 2012-2013, and he has established himself as one of the best players on our island in his position.

During the last season, he made twenty-one appearances and scored a total of five goals, including the second goal in the 2-1 victory over Heart of Midlothian that gave the Stripes a historic qualification to the third round of the UEFA Europa League.

We would like to wish Edward all the best of luck in his adventure with our Club for the upcoming two seasons.
