Under-19's Team lose to Sliema Wanderers

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team suffered the second consecutive defeat in the Youths League Section A, when they were defeated by league leaders Sliema Wanderers FC with a 3-1 score.

The Stripes surged ahead after eighteen minutes by Andrew Abela, but Sliema Wanderers levelled matters in the first-half as both teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at half time. The Wanderers pushed forward in the second half and scored two goals to make sure of the victory.
