Under-17's Team beat Mosta to finish third

Birkirkara FC Women Under-17's Team ended their Women Under-17's League Section A commitments on a very satisfactory note, when they defeated Mosta FC with a 3-0 score to secure a respective top-three finish.

The Stripes surged ahead on the half-hour mark. Team's top scorer Veronique Mifsud was floored inside the box and the referee ordered the penalty. From the spot, the same player made no mistake.

Birkirkara doubled their lead on the fourty-fourth minute. Sarah Urpani's corner kick created havoc inside the box before Michela Felice blasted the ball home from close-range.

The Stripes wrapped-up their victory with the third goal on the sixty-third minute. It was an excellent tea build-up play that featured Urpani finding Felice who continued the possession towards Mifsud and the technical playmaker hit a powerful from outside the box that gave the Mosta goalkeeper no chance.
