Under-17's Team register comfortable victory

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team defeated Hamrun Spartans with a 4-0 score in the APS Bank Under-17's League Section A as a hat-trick by Ayrton Attard and another goal by Carlo Zammit Lonardelli consolidated their second place.

The Stripes built a comfortable two-goal cushion in the first-half. Ayrton Attard beat goalkeeper Loren Schembri with a diagonal shot to break the dead-lock and two minutes before half-time, the same player made them two with a direct corner-kick.

Birkirkara added another two goals in the second-half to add further gloss on the victory. Carlo Zammit Lonardelli made them three while Ayrton Attard completed his hat-trick with a fine effort that beat the goalkeeper.
