Women's Team in a 1-1 draw against Sirens U17

Birkirkara FC Women's Team played their last friendly match before the highly anticipated BOV Women's Super Cup on the 12 September when they shared the spoils with the Sirens FC Under-17's boys in a 1-1 draw.

Sirens went ahead after just five minutes when off a corner kick from the left, Kim Parnis deflected the ball into her own net. However, the Stripes made a strong reaction and they scored the equalizing goal six minutes later when Kelly Agius Pace and Leanne Micallef combined well before the latter's low-shot beat the goalkeeper.

This friendly brought to an end a very satisfactory pre-season campaign that saw the Stripes winners of the Kirkop Tournament and defeating the UK Army Medical Services and Kirkop United in separate matches.
