Under-17's Team defeat Balzan in league last match

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team completed their league commitments with a positive note when with the odd goal in five, they defeated Balzan FC with a 3-2 score thanks to a brace by Gianluca Zammit and Ayrton Attard.

The Stripes built a two-goal cushion in the first-half thanks to Gianluca Zammit and Ayrton Attard to end the first-half in the lead. Balzan made a strong reaction in the second half and brought the score level but Gianluca Zammit scored the winning goal fifteen minutes from time to hands Birkirkara a fine victory.

Hamrun Spartans were crowned Champions with thirty-five points, followed by Mosta three point less. The Stripes placed at the third place with nineteen points, level with Pieta Hotspurs, one point over Floriana, three over Balzan, four over Hibernians and eleven over bottom-placed San Gwann.
