Under-17's Team comfortably beat Balzan

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team registered their second consecutive win in the APS Bank Under-17's League Section A, when on Sunday morning, they easily defeated Balzan FC with a 3-0 score, thanks to a goal each by Jordan Sciberras, Ayrton Attard and Karl Caruana.

The first half was a balanced encountered, but Birkirkara managed to break the deadlock on the 21st minute through Jordan Sciberras, following a corner from the right taken by Kyle Mifsud. The first half ended with the Stripes having a 1-0 lead.

Birkirkara increased their tempo in the second half and increased their lead in the 49th minute when Gianluca Zammit's perfect through-ball sent through Ayrton Attard, who slotted the ball past the Balzan custodian. Following other goal scoring opportunities, Birkirkara scored their third goal in the 65th minute thanks to Karl Caruana's fine header from a short corner.
