Under-17's Team with a fine victory over Pieta Hotspurs

Birkirkara FC returned to winning ways in the APS Bank Under-17's League when an early goal by Ayrton Attard and another one by Gianluca Zammit mid-way through the second half saw the Stripes defeating Pieta Hotspurs with a 2-0 score.

Following the 4-1 defeat against Mosta in their last league match, the Stripes replied in the perfect way as they defeated third-placed Pieta Hotspurs. Thanks to this victory, the Stripes kept the on pace level points with Floriana, after the latter defeated San Gwann with a 1-0 score.

Ayrton Attard put the Stripes ahead after just five minutes to end the first half in the lead before Gianluca Zammit scored the second goal for the Stripes on the hour mark. With two goals in-front, the Stripes held their advantage to register an important victory.
