Juan Quero released

Birkirkara FC reached an agreement with Spanish midfielder Juan Quero to terminate his contract. The release was agreed upon amicably and mutually, to serve the interest of both parties.

The Club has parted ways with the first foreign player in this January Transfer Market, as the thirty-one year old midfielder has been released just a few moments ago. Juan joined our Club on the 11 August 2015 and he made his debut in the 2-1 defeat against Hibernians in the BOV Super Cup.

The technical midfielder struggled to find a regular place with the team. He made eleven appearances in which only two were from the start. During his with our Club he scored two goals, one in the BOV Premier League and one in the FA Trophy.

We would like to thank Juan for his service to our Club while wishing him all the best of luck in his future.
