Marlene Christmas Festival

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy held its 25th edition of the Christmas Festival, which this year was sponsored by Marlene, on the 26th and 27th of December, at its training centre in Birkirkara.

Over 200 players from four age groups, the Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 and Under 11, took part in this non-competitive football festival, coming from the nurseries of Hamrun, Hibernians, Pieta, San Gwann, Marsaxlokk, and obviously Birkikara FC Youth Academy. In a friendly environment, the young players had the opportunity to practice what they had learned during their training. Respect was the order of the day, with all players shaking hands before the start of each match.

Representatives of Marlene were on location, distributing high quality apples and other gifts to all those present during the festival. Every player, coach and club representative that took part in this festival was presented with a gift pack by Marlene, consisting of apples and a Frisbee, to promote eating healthy and leading an active lifestyle.

Birkirkara FC would like to once again thanking Marlene for supporting this festival, and making it a memorable one for all those that took part.
