Under-15's Team open league commitments with victory

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team registered a fine opening to the APS Bank Under-15's League Section A when a goal in the second half by Ryan Tonna handed the Stripes a narrow victory over Balzan FC.

The Stripes, who won all their three matches in the play-off groups to secure a Section A status, enjoyed large swatches of possession and they dominated for long stretches but it had to be a goal early in the second half to hand them three points despite they ended the match playing with ten players after Nikolai Farrugia was sent off.
