Birkirkara FC reach an agreement with Giovanni Tedesco

Birkirkara FC have reached an agreement with former Floriana FC Coach Mr. Giovanni Tedesco, to be the Club's Head Coach for the next years. Mr. Tedesco is expected to fly to Malta, from his native country of Italy, to finalise the paperwork tomorrow.

Mr. Tedesco, 43, was brought to Malta by Floriana FC. The Italian Coach left an outstanding impression, going beyond all the Greens' pre-season expectations to finish in a respectable fifth place in the BOV Premier League of 2014-2015.

Born in Palermo, Mr. Tedesco enjoyed a great football career as a player where he played for a host of Italian top sides, such as Perugia, Genoa and Palermo respectively. He retired as a player in 2010.
