Girls Under-16's lose to Pembroke

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team suffered the first defeat in the Girls Under-16's League Section B, when despite dominating for long stretches, they lost with a narrow 1-0 result against Pembroke Athleta FC.

The Stripes enjoyed an edge over their opponents, but Rossella D'Antuono struck midway through the first half, to give the three points to Pembroke. Birkirkara pushed hard in the second half, but lack of luck, along with the bold defensive display of Pembroke denied them from getting something out of this match.
