Girls Under-16's heavily defeated by Mgarr United FC

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team paid the highest price for their mistakes on Sunday morning when they were defeated by Mgarr United with an 8-0 score.

Mgarr were quick to surge ahead after two minutes and they built a comfortable four-goal lead till the half-time whistle. The second half was no different as Mgarr continued to dominate and scored another four goals, for a final score of 8-0.

As the first-round of the league is now over, the league will be split in two categories with Birkirkara will be playing with last five after finishing in the eighth place, six points over bottom-placed, Pembroke Athleta FC.

Fixtures, time and venues will be announced later on this week.
