Under-15's Team makes it two in a row

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team made them two in a row by defeating San Gwann with a 4-0 score in the APS Bank Under-15's Section A League.

San Gwann relied on their fighting qualities and did their best to try and close all gaps in their rearguard, by putting most of their boys in their half of the pitch. This worked well until some tactical changes were made by the Birkirkara coaching team to counteract San Gwann's tactics.

These changes brought about the required results and following an ongoing assault, a perfect cross from Ryan Tonna on the twenty-eight minute found Kyle who hit home the first goal.

This was the turning point of the match, and after only one minute, Ayrton caused havoc, when he past three defenders and hit home the second goal.

Our boys continued to dominate the game and it was only on rare occasions that San Gwann ventured out of their half.

After the interval, Birkirkara continued to dominate and Kyle Mifsud made them three following a superb shot that gave San Gwann's keeper no chance .

Several substitutions were made but the clear dominance was still evident and on the sixty-eight minute Ayrton sealed the game with a well taken shot, following an excellent pass from Carlo Zammit Lonardelli.
