Joseph Zerafa renews his contract

Joseph Zerafa has renewed his contract with Birkirkara FC for another two years, which means that he will be wearing the Stripes shirt at least till the end of the 2015-2016 season.

Joseph is the second player to renew his contract after team's captain, Gareth Sciberras renewed his contract for another two years on Monday afternoon. Joseph is a Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery product and made his debut with the senior team in the 2005-2006 season. Since then, he has established himself as one of the best left backs on the island.

Zerafa was a regular choice during the last seasons. Last season he made twenty-seven appearances in the BOV Premier League and netted two goals.
