Rafael Ledesma signs for Birkirkara FC

Brazilian technical midfielder Rafael Ledesma is the second signing of the day, when just a few moments ago, the thirty-one year old put pen on paper for a one year deal.

Ledesma is a Brazilian midfielder who can also play as a striker. He was on the books of Ethnikos Achna, a club from Cyprus. He was a regular choice and made twenty-four appearances and netted two goals. In the last season in which he featured as a regular striker was in the 2011-2012 season with Suduva, a club from Lithunia and he scored no less than twenty goals.

Rafael made his unofficial debut with our Club yesterday in the Euro Cup Pre-Season Tournament match when he was included in the second half. The match against Valletta ended in a draw of 1-1. He left a very good impression as the confident and technical midfielder showed great skills in the midfield department. In fact, the equalizing goal began by a precise through ball from the Brazilian midfielder who served Lucky before playing-in Camenzuli who beat Cini.
