Women's Team to take on Kirkop

Birkirkara FC Women's Team will be involved in another test this evening when they take on Kirkop United FC.
The sour defeat against Mgarr United halted the Stripes' winning streak, but it was not enough to keep them down and out. In their last match, Birkirkara managed to return to winning ways by edging out Pembroke Athletha and defeated them with a comfortable 4-0 score.
On the other hand, Kirkop are occupying the fifth position and they are on track to reach their target of keeping their place in the top division, as they are enjoying a seven-point lead over bottom-placed, Raiders FC.
Following a 1-1 draw against Pembroke Athletha and 2-0 victory over Raiders, Kirkop were defeated by Hibernians with a 4-0 score in their last match. All the Paolites' goals arrived in the second half, following an excellent first forty-five minutes by the newly-promoted side.
This season, Birkirkara faced Pembroke twice, and in both occasions, Birkirkara emerged as winners with identical scores of 3-0.
The match will be played at Mgarr Grounds and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
