Women's team to take on Mgarr

Birkirkara FC Women's Team will be seeking to end the first round commitments on a positive note, when this evening they take on Mgarr FC.
Following suffering the first league defeat at the hands of Hibernians FC, the Stripes roared back with an excellent comeback when they trounced Gozo with a score of 4-0, thanks to a magnificent performance which put them back on track. This win enabled the Stripes to level points with the same Gozo that both have twelve points. However, the Stripes have a game in hand.
Mgarr was one of the clubs that strengthened their squad with several signings during the summer. They are currently in the fourth position in the league standings with nine points from five matches. Despite a very good performance, they suffered a 3-0 defeat in the last match against Hibernians. The latter extended their winning streak to six matches out of six, for a perfect start to the league campaign.
The match is going to be played at the Mgarr Grounds and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15
