Star Balm Christmas Festival

Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery, is organising its annual Star Balm Christmas Festival between Thursday 26 December and Saturday 28 December 2013. This festival is going to be held at the Infetti Training Centre in Birkirkara.

This is the 23rd edition of this festival, which is the flagship of the Youth Nursery. This year's edition, which is being kindly sponsored by Star Balm, is eagerly awaited by the participating nurseries like the previous years.

The Festival will see all participating teams play five matches, that is, all the teams play each other on a round-robin basis. In accordance with the MFA regulations, no points will be kept and no team will be declared winner. Clubs can register more than one team per category.

The main objective of the Star Balm Christmas Festival is to give the young participants an opportunity to enjoy playing football without undue pressure and to have fun on the occasion.

This Festival will be held with authorization of the Youth and Grassroots Committee of the Malta Football Association. All the rules and regulations are as issued by the MFA Technical Centre.

This year's football festival is dedicated for the categories below:

Boys Under 10 - Born 2004 or later: 8-a-side.
Boys Under 11 - Born 2003 or later: 8-a-side.
Girls Under 15 - Born 1999 or later: 7-a-side.

Nurseries are invited to participate in this Football Festival by completing the application form and send it to the Administrator at nursery@birkirkarafc.com. It is highly appreciated if you confirm your participation by not later than the 17 November 2013.

We urge all Nurseries to apply early so as not to be disappointed as applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
