Women's Team aiming to make it three in a row

Birkirkara Women's Team will start as hot favourites to make them three wins in a row in the BOV First Division League as they will face the newly promoted side, Raiders FC.
Last Tuesday, the Stripes showed great attitude to overcome the determined challenge of the newly promoted side, Kirkop United FC. This week, the Women's Team will be involved in another hurdle, that might prove to be difficult to clear.
Birkirkara have started the defence of the title on an excellent note. After they defeated Pembroke Athleta with a 3-0 score in the opening match, they went on to register another comfortable 3-0 victory over Kirkop United to pick up maximum points from the first two matches.
On the other hand, Raiders have played only one match so far and they had a tough start as they were trashed with a 10-0 score against Hibernians. With little or no doubt, they will be all out to avoid another big defeat.
The match will be played at the Charles Abela Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
