Women's Team contingent off to Holland

Early on Wednesday morning, Birkirkara FC Women's Team contingent made up of 24 persons, led by the Club's Treasurer, Ivan Mizzi, and made up of Club officials, players and technical staff will be off to the Netherlands to take part in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The contingent will be meeting at Malta's International Airport at 05:15, and the flight to Amsterdam is scheduled for 07:00. From there, they will travel by coach to Enschede, in the Twente region of Holland, where they will be hosted by Twente FC.

The team that will travel to Holland is made up of the following:

Goalkeepers: Janice Xuereb, Nina Dimech.

Defenders: Alexia Scicluna, Kirstie Vella, Rebecca Chircop, Stephania Farrugia, Yasmeen Vella, Charlene Schembri.

Midfielders: Kim Parnis, Gabriella Zahra, Rachel Cuschieri, Raina Giusti, Alishia Sultana, Isabelle Mazzitelli, Maryrose Cardona.

Forwards: Kelly Agius Pace, Sacha Camilleri, Simone Buttigieg.
