Paul Zammit extends his stay

Mr. Paul Zammit will be the Birkirkara's Head Coach till the 2016-2017 season as has has reached an agreement with the Club for a three-year contract, a few moments ago.

The confirmation of Mr. Zammit at the helm of the club was highly-anticipated as the charismatic coach carried Birkirkara through the fourth league title in their history. Following this successful year at the Club, the committee felt that Mr. Zammit is the ideal person to continue leading the team for the next three seasons.

The Club's decision of confirming Mr. Zammit shows the wish for consistency in the coming years.

This was the second premier-league title that Mr. Zammit won with our Club as he was also at the helm of the team in 2010 when with a squad mostly composed of youngsters, the Stripes defeated the odds to win an unexpected title.

We would like to wish Mr. Zammit the best of luck for the next three years with our Club.
