Birkirkara eliminated by Hibernians in U19 Knock-out

Birkirkara suffered the biggest defeat of the season when they were trashed by Hibernians in the Youths' Knockout with an 8-2 score.

After beating Floriana with a comfortable score in their last league games, it was expected that the Stripes will achieve something better from this match. However, this was not to be as Hibernians were the deserved winners by opening a comfortable lead early in the first half. After Birkirkara pulled one back, Hibernians remained on course to increase the lead and seal the issue. The two goals by the Stripes were scored by Kurt Zammit.

Starting Eleven: Jonathan Martinelli, Ian Schembri, Dylan Aqulina, Andre Cassar, Leon Muscat, Fabian Zammit, Godwin McKay, Roderick Taliana, Antoine Borg, Brandon Attard, Aiden Galea.
