Five Birkirkara players in the National squad

After the Maltese National Team's Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin named the provisional squads for the matches against Bulgiaria and Italy, five Birkirkara players were called to the final eighteen-man squad for the match against Bulgaria.

Justin Haber, Gareth Sciberras, Edward Herrera, Paul Fenech and Rowen Muscat were the Birkirkara players chosen in the eighteen-man squad for this match. Goalkeeper Reuben Gauci and defender Joseph Zerafa were the only two Birkirkara players who were dropped following chosen in the provisional squad.

Malta will face Bulgaria next Friday in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match and the match will be played at the Natsionalen Stadion Vasil Levski in Sofia. The match is scheduled to kick off at 17:00.
