Under 19 Team back to winning ways

The Birkirkara FC Under 19 Team returned to winning ways when despite being a depleted side, they managed to defeat current champions Pieta Hotspurs with a 1-0 score.

Birkirkara, who were without the services of Aiden Galea, Ian Schembri and Roderick Taliana who were all suspended, were slightly better than their opponents as they created several fine scoring chances but it was a solitary goal by Shawn Deguara who gave ‘The Stripes' three precious point to return to winning ways.

Birkirkara will be involved in the next match on the 8 November against St. Patrick's.

Starting Eleven: Jonathan Martinelli, Godwin McKay, Zach Muscat, McAllisther Clinch, Andre Cassar, David Spiteri, Shawn Deguara, Antoine Borg, Bernard Borg, Dylan Aquilina, Kurt Zammit.
