Patrick Borg loaned to Rabat Ajax

Birkirkara FC and Rabat Ajax FC today reached an agreement for the loan of Patrick Borg for one season.

Earlier this season, Patrick signed a fresh contract with our Club. However, both the player and the Club decided that it was in the best interest of both parties that he will be loaned out.

Patrick Borg needs no introduction to the Birkirkara supporters, as he is a Youth Nursery product. He made his debut with the senior team on the 15 April 2006 in the 2005-2006 season against Msida SJ, when ‘The Stripes' won the match with a 4-1 score. Later on that season, Birkirkara won their second Premier League title.

In the season 2010-2011 Patrick had 14 appearances and scored one goal. Last season he was loaned to Marsaxlokk FC.

We would like to wish the best of luck to Patrick in his new adventure, and hope he gains more experience with Rabat Ajax FC.
