Rachel Cuschieri awarded as best female player

During yesterday's Replay Gala Night 2012, one of the most talented female midfielders Rachel Cuschieri was awarded as the best female player for the 2011-2012 season.

For this award, no less than three out of the four players nominated, were Birkirkara players, as Gabriella Zahra and Stephania Farrugia were also nominated. The fourth nominee was Joslyn Gafa' who plays for Gozo FC.

Rachel had a fantastic season with Birkirkara and she finished as the top scorer of the team. From sixteen appearance, in which she started all matches from the beginning; she managed to score seventeen goals besides providing a good number of assists.

We would like to congratulate Rachel and wish her all the best of luck for the future.
