Protest regarding Tarxien match not Upheld

The Protests Board of the MFA has not upheld Birkirkara FC's protest, in relation to the match that was played on the 6th of November 2011, against Tarxien Rainbows.

Birkirkara FC had lodged a protest that the fact that in the 66th minute of play, there were two balls on the pitch, when Tarxien scored their third goal, constituted a technial mistake.

The Protest Board, after investigating the evidence submitted, has deemed that the second ball did not interfere with play, and therefore the protest was not being upheld.
