Birkirkara FC in the Charles Abela Memorial Cup

The Premier League will have a pause of two weeks due to the festive seasons, but Birkirkara FC will not have a break and on Wednesday, 29th December they will be taking part in the Charles Abela Memorial Cup.

Birkirkara FC, together with the 1st Division side and hosts of the cup Mosta FC, and last season's 3rd Division champions Zejtun Corinthians, will be the challengers for this cup.

The three teams will play two games each. All the matches will have a duration of 45 minutes. This event will take place at the Mosta FC Ground and the first match will kick-off at 18:30. Birkirkara FC and Zejtun Corinthians will play the first match. In the second match the loser will play against Mosta FC while the third and final match will be between the winners of the first game against the hosts Mosta FC.

This cup will be organized by Mosta Football Club as a part of their 75th anniversary, and it will be sponsored by Nectar Group.
