Birkirkara to face Vittoriosa Stars
by Ayrton Galea - 3rd November 2010Tomorrow night, Birkirkara will be playing their 7th Premier League game when they will face Vittoriosa Stars.
Birkirkara are coming from three consecutive matches where they failed to take maximum points. First they were held in a 2-2 draw by Valletta. Then a terrible performance saw 'The Stripes' being humiliated by Marsaxlokk with a 5-2 result. Last Friday, Birkirkara shared the spoils with Hamrun Spartans in a 1-1 draw.
On the other hand, Vittoriosa who are last in the standings, managed to grab four points from their last two outings. First they held Floriana in a goalless draw and last week they managed to defeat Hibernians with a two goals to null.
During the last game against Hamrun, Birkirkara lost another important player due to injury, as Trevor Cilia had to be replaced because he suffered a hamstring injury. This means that he will be added to the injury list with Alan Tabone, Esequiel Lovizon Rowen Muscat, and Shaun Bajada, while Manuel Bartolo is still doubtful for tomorrow's match due to illness.
The match will be played in the Victor Tedesco Stadium located in Hamrun and it is scheduled to kick off at 19:30. As usual, transport from Valley Road is available and it will leave at 18:30.
Come on the Stripes!
