Emiliano Lattes talks to birkirkarafc.com

Following the last friendly match which left Birkirkara and Mqabba sharing the spoils, it was time for the latest recruit, Emiliano Lattes to give us his views on Saturday's match.

Emiliano was playing for Msida Saint Joseph last season. At the start of this season he joined Sliema Wanderers, before he was released and then went on to join our Club.

Lattes was, unfortunately, not in his best form last Saturday, and his comments about there game were: "It was a bad game for us. From a personal point of view, I missed a lot of chances. On the other hand, I am happy that I am feeling physically better which for me, is very important."

When asked if he feels that he needs more time to be more confident, he agreed by saying, "Yes, I will definitely gain more confidence by time. In the meantime I need to play as many games as I can"

In his last comments, Lattes promised everyone that he will be using his skills to help the squad as best he can, especially in the attacking department: "I am sure that I will be of help, now that I have got to know my team mates better and vice versa. I will improve my skills thanks to these friendly matches and I will help my team mates much more in the coming weeks."
