Joseph Zerafa called with National Team

Joseph Zerafa is the latest Birkirkara FC player to be called by head coach, Mr Johnny Buttigieg, to join the National Team.

His defending skills together with his dangerous overlaps were surely decisive factors for Buttigieg to choose to call Zerafa to join the National Team for the first time. Zerafa is still at the young age of 21.

Joseph told us "It was a huge surprise for me considering that I was still part of the Under 21 National Team. From now on I will give my 100% to keep forming part of the squad from one match to the next so that my dream continues. It is an honour to wear the Maltese shirt so I will do my best to keep wearing it."
