BoV Player of the Month

Trevor Cilia, affectionaly known in the world of football as 'Il-Bazaz' has clinched a well-deserved Player of the Month award for April and May 2010. This follows the award won by the same player for February.

Mr. Cilia has impressed his club supporters and the local football enthusiasts alike with his fine plays down Birkirkara's right flank, which had a thorough role in the title acquired this year by 'the Stripes'.

During that month, the winger scored no less than five goals and contributed to much more thanks to his perfect passing and crossing skills.

This individual honour, the last of the season, was certainly the icing on the cake for the Birkirkara player following the triumph in the premier league.

Charles Borg, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta presented the trophy to Trevor Cilia who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.

In the name of all of our supporters, I wish to congratulate Trevor for this award, and wish him more and more awards in the near future.
