Trevor Cilia awarded for his fine form

Trevor Cilia emerged as the top player for February in the BOV Player of the Month poll held by the local media. Trevor has won man of the match eight times this year.

Trevor was presented with the trophy by Charles Borg, Chief Officer of BoV, who coincidentally also used to play for Birkirkara FC. It also turned out that Charles was a team mate of Trevor's father Charles Cilia.

When asked about the secret of his success Trevor mentioned that there is a great atmosphere built on teamwork, and no primadonnas. He attributed this to the work done by the coach, which he thanked.

Charles congratulated Trevor on his achievement, and wished him the best of luck for the rest of the season. Trevor chose the Puttinu Cares Foundation to benefit from the monetary donation related to this award.
